Tuition

Tuition varies by age and program.

Current weekly tuition is:

Please contact us for the latest tuition information and availability.

Tuition includes much more than daily childcare. Every program is designed to support your child’s growth through language development, hands-on learning, creativity, and exploration.

All programs include:

Infant tuition also includes diapers, wipes, and formula.

The first five years of life are critical for brain development, language acquisition, social-emotional growth, and school readiness.

At Edina Daycare, your tuition supports a high-quality early learning experience that combines nurturing care with intentional education, helping children build confidence, curiosity, creativity, and independence.

Programs

We welcome children from 6 weeks through Pre-K.

Programs include:

Each classroom is designed specifically for children’s developmental stages.

Preschool focuses on developing early social, emotional, language, and cognitive skills through play. Pre-K builds upon those skills with greater emphasis on kindergarten readiness, early literacy, math, problem-solving, independence, and collaboration.

Both programs use hands-on learning and Spanish immersion throughout the day.

Many children begin preschool around age three. However, readiness depends on each child’s development, confidence, and social-emotional growth. Our teachers work closely with families to determine the best classroom placement.

Spanish Immersion

Spanish immersion means children are exposed to Spanish naturally throughout the day – not only during designated lessons.

Teachers incorporate Spanish into conversations, songs, stories, routines, games, and classroom activities, helping children build familiarity with the language through meaningful daily experiences.

Not at all.

Most children begin with little or no Spanish experience. Language develops naturally through daily exposure in a supportive, engaging environment.

No.

Research consistently shows that young children are well-equipped to learn multiple languages. Early bilingual exposure supports language development and can strengthen cognitive flexibility, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Yes.

Spanish immersion begins in infancy through songs, comforting routines, conversations, books, and everyday interactions.

Educational Philosophy

Reggio Emilia-inspired learning is an educational philosophy that views children as capable, curious, and active participants in their own learning. Teachers observe children’s interests and create meaningful opportunities for exploration through hands-on experiences, collaboration, creativity, and problem-solving.

Rather than simply delivering information, educators guide children as they discover, investigate, and learn through authentic experiences.

Play-based learning uses purposeful play as the foundation for education. Children build language, social skills, creativity, independence, and critical thinking through activities that encourage exploration, imagination, and discovery.

Research shows that play is one of the most effective ways young children learn.

STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. Young children explore STEM concepts through age-appropriate experiments, building projects, nature exploration, counting, sorting, measuring, and problem-solving activities.

Children learn best by actively engaging with materials, asking questions, experimenting, and exploring. Hands-on experiences help children retain knowledge, build confidence, and develop critical thinking skills while making learning meaningful and enjoyable.

Daily Life

While each classroom follows its own schedule, children enjoy a balance of:

Our daily routines provide consistency while allowing flexibility to follow children’s interests.

Outdoor play is an important part of our program whenever weather permits. Children have opportunities for active play, exploration, nature discovery, and gross motor development in safe outdoor environments.

We believe strong partnerships between families and educators help children thrive. Our team maintains open communication with families regarding daily experiences, developmental milestones, classroom activities, and important updates.

Safety & Care

Providing a safe, nurturing environment is our highest priority. Our classrooms are designed with children’s well-being in mind, and our experienced educators follow established health, safety, and supervision practices to create a secure learning environment.

Every child adjusts differently. Our teachers work closely with families to create a gradual, supportive transition that helps children feel comfortable, secure, and confident in their new environment.
